Computerized eye testing offers a reference to which an eye doctor or optician may perform additional tests for glasses that are most suited for your situation. This is also just for prescription glasses. Simple tests, such as having you identify letters on an eye chart, to more advanced examinations, such as utilizing digital imaging technologies to detect and analyze microscopic blood vessels and other structures within your eyes, are all available.

Traditional progressive lenses are made using "pre-molded" templates, and each wearer receives the identical design. Each wearer's prescription is personalized using digital progressives. This setting removes additional distortion and makes transitioning between distant and near vision considerably easier.

Approved online vision testing for driver's licenses

Spex Optician is one of the few optical shops that has been approved by the RTA to provide driving license eye exams. The RTA allows you to take an eye exam for your driver's license.

1. New application for a driver's license.

2. Renewal of a driver's license is required.

3. Uploading eye exam results in order to transfer a driver's license from another country or emirate.
